The small country of Belize and nearby Tikal offer adventurous travelers a remarkable variety of experiences. This tiny Caribbean nation is packed with natural wonders to explore and activities for travelers. As a special treat for International Expeditions’ guests, we’ll explore Belize and Tikal while staying in some of the most environmentally friendly accommodations the world has to offer — Francis Ford Coppola’s La Lancha, Blancaneaux and Turtle Inn.
On our 9-day journey to the rainforests, reefs and ruins of Belize, we’ll trek deep into the jungles of Guatemala and Belize to the spectacular ruins of Tikal and Caracol; hear howler monkeys roaring in the jungle canopy; and snorkel along the extensive Belize Barrier Reef. We’ll be accompanied by naturalist guides whose knowledge and insight will enrich our journey.
